Kaloyan Vasilev

I create furniture that transcends mere function, where each piece is a dialogue between material, form, and emotion. Wood, resin, and other natural elements become my language, allowing me to explore the poetry hidden in everyday objects. Every design is carefully shaped to invite interaction, reflection, and a deeper appreciation of the ordinary transformed into the extraordinary. My goal is not only to furnish spaces, but to craft experiences that linger, inspiring those who encounter them to see beauty in unexpected places.”

Monaco Art Week

From July 7 to 12, 2025, Monaco transforms into an immersive gallery. Galleries, auction houses, and cultural venues across Condamine, Monte- Carlo, and Larvotto unite to form a curated trail—where the classical, modern, and contemporary converge with fluid grace.

Taking part in Monaco Art Week marks a defining moment for KV Design— which represented its Haute Charpenterie collection on behalf of One Gallery. Our piece Five Dimensions, was placed between works of Hristo Yavashev – Christo, Rassim and the surreal Salvador Dali. Positioned within this constellation of creativity, the piece explored the boundaries between material, form, and perception—inviting viewers to experience the extraordinary within the ordinary.

A statement

A chance to showcase how craftsmanship and contemporary design can transcend function and become art—worthy of standing alongside the classics and contemporaries celebrated in Monaco.
Being part of this curated journey across Monte-Carlo, Condamine, and Larvotto affirms our belief that design is not only about creating objects, but about shaping experiences and perspectives. KV Design’s presence at Monaco Art Week is both an honor and a milestone—an opportunity that amplifies our voice on the international stage and places our work within the ongoing conversation about art, culture, and innovation.

Five Dimensions emerges from solid walnut, suspended in resin and bound by a single line of stainless steel. More than a bench, it is a shifting experience: each angle reveals a new truth, a whole dissolving into fragments, fragments converging into form. The piece plays with perception, creating illusions where matter bends into light. It is not simply an object, but an exploration of how reality refracts—where design becomes art, and the visible becomes infinite – simply a sculpture with function.
